How to get comms modules in DMZ in Modern Warfare 4

Getting comms modules in DMZ in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is a pain in the butt, because this epic-tier crafting ingredient is incredibly elusive if you don’t know where to look. You need comms modules to unlock uncommon ingredient printing (along with high-tenacity fibers), to increase your weapon storage, and for other equipment such as fulton drop markers. Once you’ve unlocked epic ingredient printing you can simply make more, but that’s not feasible until you’ve acquired even rarer ingredients.

So if you’re wondering exactly how to get comms modules in Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode, here’s where you need to be looking.

Where to find comms modules in DMZ

Even though they’re rare, comms modules can spawn in a bunch of different locations around the map. Some of the best locations include the server rooms inside the Netshin Tech Complex, the row of buildings to the east of Deadtown next to the river, and DBN Headquarters inside The Grid.

One of the best methods for the latter location is to choose the “Operation Grid Assault” story mission, as that spawns you right next to DBN Headquarters. Follow the mission objective upstairs and search the rooms filled with computers. That’s where I found the comms module pictured above. As a bonus, this is also right next to the Netshin Tech Complex.

Keep an eye out for downed drones throughout Hajin too, as these can often spawn comms modules inside, but they’re located randomly throughout the map. Finally, the Cheonwang Peak Array can also be a reliable source, but this location is full of enemies, making it incredibly difficult to clear, especially if you’re a solo player.
