Locating the Flesh Lily in Phantom Blade Zero is part of one of the first secondary missions in the game. The “Flesh Lily” is a long quest that you only complete after reaching the fourth area in the game, Pangzhen. Although it takes a while for you to see the conclusion of this tale, completing the first step is worthwhile, as it involves obtaining one of the strongest weapons in the early game.

Where to find the Flesh Lily in Phantom Blade Zero
The Flesh Lily is a key item that you can only obtain after defeating Hua, Deadly Betrothed, an optional boss in the Weeping Creek Valley. You need it to complete the first step of the “Flesh Lily” side quest, which you can start by talking to Yu’er, a character you meet early in the first area of the game.

During the “Against the Flow” main quest, you will find Yu’er. After she asks for help reaching Pangzhen, talk to her and ask about “how to save her father” to start the “Flesh Lily” side mission. The girl will explain that she knows of a medicine that could cure her father, but to prepare it, she needs a rare flower called Flesh Lily. Yu’er has no idea where you can find it and doesn’t offer any hints.

To have a chance to fight Hua, Deadly Betrothed, and obtain the Flesh Lily, you must progress through the story until you start the “Steel and Steam” main quest and reach the Valley Sha-Chi Tower. From the Valley Sha-Chi Tower 1st Floor bell, turn left and enter the building. If this is your first time visiting the tower, there will be three enemies waiting for you.

After defeating them, move forward between the giant furnace and the stairs to reach the back of the room. On the right side, you will find a hole in the ground. Jump into it to slide down. There are more enemies below the platform where you land. You can ignore them, but I suggest clearing the area, as you might have to repeat this path more than once to reach the boss if you die during the battle.

Turn left from the platform you landed and climb the long flight of stairs to reach a field of red lilies. A cutscene will play, and the fight against Hua will start. She’s a fast enemy who will constantly teleport toward or away from you. Be careful with the white flowers she fires at you. If you’re hit, they paralyze you. After defeating Hua, you will earn the Scarlet Wraithblade two-handed sword. From a corpse near the altar, you can collect the Twin Flesh Lilies.

Now, return to the Outpost and talk to Yu’er near Forge, the smith. Choose the “hand the Flesh Lily to Yu’er” dialogue option. She will keep only one of the flowers, and lend you the other.
